PURPOSE: To provide a general purpose type simulation device which is capable of easily testing the function of a sequencer, regardless of the kind of the sequencer controlling a machine equipment.

CONSTITUTION: A control panel simulation part is composed by a personal computer 10 for operation. A facility equipment simulation part and a computer simulation part are composed by personal computers 20, 20 for simulation. The control panel simulation part has a function preparing the panel surface of the control panel on a screen and the input/output function corresponding to the control panel. The facility equipment simulation part performs the simulation operations corresponding to the sensor and the driving machine of the facility equipment. The computer simulation part performs the simulation operating corresponding to a host computer. In the both of the simulation parts, operation conditions are imparted as definition files from the outside, arithmetic processings are performed for the imparted files by prescribed programs and signal outputs are performed.
