Abstract:
To provide a technique for shortening a calculation time in a simulation of a gas-liquid two-phase flow in a case where an external force due to a gas flow acts on a droplet adhering to a solid wall surface and a contact angle of the droplet with respect to the solid wall surface changes.SOLUTION: A gas-liquid two-phase flow simulation method uses a static contact angle of a droplet to calculate a mass flow rate of gas-liquid two-phase flow based on the exchange law of a momentum between the droplet and a gas, by a motion equation for each of the droplet and the gas. The calculated mass flow rate and a velocity difference between the droplet and the gas calculated by the motion equation for each of the droplet and the gas are used to calculate a drag force acting on an interface between the droplet and the gas generated by an external force. A dynamic contact angle of the droplet is calculated using the drag force calculated in a drag force calculation step by a relational expression between the contact angle and the drag force derived in advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
