Abstract:
To provide a method for a simulation which can effectively use a function of executing more than one thread at the same time.SOLUTION: A plurality of particles are arranged in a calculation region and a motion equation is solved numerically on the basis of the force which acts on each particle so that motions of the particles are analyzed. The analysis includes processing of inserting particles into the calculation region. The processing of inserting particles into the calculation region executes processing in which each of a plurality of threads of a processing unit having a function of executing a plurality of threads at the same time are in charge of at least a part of the particles to insert and determine the position of insertion of each particle in the calculation region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
