Abstract:
PURPOSE: To permit a lecturer to adjust a lecture and to correspond to the interest of the audience by permitting the audience and the lecturer to execute communication. CONSTITUTION: Portable modules 12 given to the respective audiences and a processor 14 positioned near the lecturer 10 are provided. The audience-side module 12 contains a keyboard or a bar code reader for responding to questions from the lecturer 10. The audience-side module 12 transmits not only a response but also an identification number peculiar to the module 12 as soon as a queue from the processor 14 arrives. The response is collected by the processor 14 and is processed by a personal computer 16 having statistical analysis software inside. The responses collected from the audience are statistically analyzed in connection to data contained in a memory in the personal computer 16 in addition to the analysis of the statuses and the characteristics of the respective audiences giving the specified responses. The processor 14 has transmission ability and the audience-side modules 12 have ability for receiving data that can individually be adjusted to the small groups of the audiences or the respective audiences.
