To provide a simultaneous counting method for a γ-ray and a nuclear medical diagnostic device capable of shortening an examination time.
A time window set in a simultaneous counting device 80 is determined based on energy of the γ-ray detected by a radiation detector 51, and simultaneous counting processing is carried out using the determined time window, so as to attain the purpose of the present invention. The present invention is achieved by storing information of a correction value of the time window (or value of the time window) corresponding to the detected energy of the γ-ray, in a storage device 81 installed in a data processor 12, and by determining the time window set in the simultaneous counting device 80, based on the information.
