PURPOSE: To provide a large-sized device capable of fitting/removing plural pipeline joints simultaneously in spite of errors on the moving side and absorbing the distortion of the device caused by thermal expansion, and moreover with various means for fitting/removing action aggregated into a fixed side unit.
CONSTITUTION: When a moving side unit 10 reaches directly in front of a fixed side guide roller 57 is transferred onto a moving side hanging guide 15, the tip part of the lock bar of a lock cylinder 70 enters the recessed part 13b of a moving side vertical plate 13a and is locked to a projecting part 13c by the action of rotating mechanism. In this state, the lock cylinder 70 is operated reversely and locked. A female screw member is then driven forward by the rotation of a male screw member so as to advance a fixed side vertical plate 53 to the specified distance from the moving side vertical plate 13a. The male side piping joint group 60 of the fixed side vertical plate 53 is thereby connected to the female side piping joint group 20 of the moving side vertical plate 13a.
