Abstract:
To provide UV lamps for sanitizing which are easy to produce and use.SOLUTION: An excimer lamp 100 includes a dielectric tube 110, an end cap 120, a conductive hollow tube 130, and an electrode grid 140. The dielectric tube 110 has a closed end 112 and an open end 114, and defines a cavity 111. The end cap 120 sealingly covers the open end 114. The conductive hollow tube 130 passes through the end cap 120 and enters the cavity 111 of the dielectric tube 110, with a volume 113 defined between an exterior surface of the conductive hollow tube 130 and an interior surface 116 of the dielectric tube. The volume 113 is configured to hold a gas. The electrode grid 140 is disposed on an exterior surface 118 of the dielectric tube 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
