The single-ended base lighting fixture is provided with a single-ended base discharge lamp 1, a socket 2 connected with the single-ended base discharge lamp 1, and a hood 3 that covers the periphery of the single-ended base discharge lamp 1. Each protruding part 12a is formed on the outer peripheral face of a basal part 12 of the single-ended base discharge lamp 1. Each protruding part 3d is formed on the inner peripheral face of the hood 3. These protruding parts 12a, 3d are respectively used as alignment marks. Each position of the protruding parts 12a, 3d is arranged corresponding to each formation position of cut grooves 2a provided at a recessed part 2c of the socket 2.
