PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce applied voltage to a capacitor Cand a reactor Lin soft switching in an LC resonance single-phase inverter.SOLUTION: Initial capacitor voltages Vc11, Vc21, Vc31, Vc41, load currents Io1, Io2, Io3, Io4, and a soft switching current Ia are detected. Times t1 to t4 until first to fourth main switches S1 to S4 are turned on after an auxiliary switch Sa is turned on are calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
