Abstract:
To provide a highly effective single photon detector having sensitivity in the neighborhood of wavelength of 1550 nm.
In a highly effective single photon detector of wavelength of 1550 nm band, an InGaAs-APD having sensitivity in the neighborhood of wavelength of 1550 nm is operated by Geiger mode and in the process, the APD is cooled, and the APD is operated by a gate mode by GPQC.
