Abstract:
To improve the performance of a single screw compressor by minimizing leakage from a high-pressure seal part 11 forming a minute clearance unavoidably present between a screw rotor 4 as a rotating body and a bearing support 5 as an unrotated body.
Oil is forcibly fed from an oil supply passage 12 provided in a main bearing support 5 to the high-pressure seal part 11 forming the minute clearance seal part present between the screw rotor 4 and the main bearing support 5 to increase the flow resistance of refrigerant gas leaking through the minute clearance part. Thus the leaked amount of the refrigerant gas can be reduced to improve the performance of the single screw compressor.
