To provide a toilet seat allowing a user to assume a posture in which the curvature of the rectum is eased and it is easy to defecate when sitting on the toilet seat.
The sitting toilet seat 211 includes a support 3, a front inclined surface part 27 provided on the upper surface of the support and at a position to be in contact with the buttocks of the user when the user sits and rotating the pelvis in the direction of moving the pelvis upper side of the user forward, and a pelvis posture holding part. In the front inclined surface part, the front side is low, and while the skin of the buttocks receives friction from the front inclined surface part when the user sits on it, the inner side tissue of the buttocks slides down along the front inclined surface part by the component force in parallel with the front inclined surface part of gravity acting on the user, and thus, the skin of the buttocks of the user is pulled up to the rear by the front inclined surface part and the pelvis is consequently rotated. The pelvis posture holding part is provided in the middle of the front inclined surface part, ends the slide-down of the user in the middle of the front inclined surface part and keeps a state in which the pelvis of the user is kept rotated.
