Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of edging by suppressing vibration at the time of edging band plates and also to improve the easiness of maintenance and durability by simplifying structure in a sizing press.
SOLUTION: A pair of sliders 16 are supported on upper and lower support beams 11, 12 so as to be opposed on both sides of the traveling line L of a rolled stock 10 and freely approached and separated each other, a pair of dies 20 for edging the rolled stock 10 are mounted on the opposing surfaces of a pair of these sliders 16 and nuts 23 having a female thread part 23a on its inner peripheral surface are mounted rotatably for driving on the sliders 16. On the other hand, the shaft part 27b of a connecting rod 27 having a male thread part 27a which is screwed in the female thread part 23a in one end part and having a frame part 27c in the other end part is supported freely movably in the axial direction on the main body 26 of a driving part, a Scotch- yoke 28 is freely movably supported on each frame part 27c of this connecting rod 27 and the eccentric part 29a of an eccentric shaft 29 is freely rotatably fit into the hole 28a of the Scotch-yoke 28.
