To provide skewered meat-on-bone so made as to prevent breakage of the bone when inserting a skewer to a skewer insertion hole of the meat-on-bone: and to provide a method for producing the skewered meat-on-bone.
The skewered meat-on-bone is structured as follows: forming a skewer insertion hole in a length direction of the bone from one side of the bone of the meat-on-bone; inserting the skewer into the skewer insertion hole; provided with a skewer having a slender skewer main body and a holding part wider than the skewer main body, where a press fitting part the width of which is gradually widened toward its back part starting from the back end of the skewer main body is formed between the skewer main body and the holding part; inserting the skewer main body into the skewer insertion hole; press-fitting the press fitting part of the skewer into the insertion port of the skewer insertion hole; and combining the press fitting part into the insertion port in an interference fit.
