Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the degree of freedom of the lower limbs of a skier by holding the feet of the skier or relaxing the holding state by a holding device according to the operation of a locking device or the action of the lower limbs of the skier. CONSTITUTION: A holding device 30 has a releasable locking device 32. When the locking device 32 is released, a shaft upper part 16 is turned from the normal position to the erect position 16' in the reverse direction to the vertical line 28 of a sole. When the shaft upper part 16 is returned to the normal position of the shaft upper part 16, the locking device 32 is automatically locked. That is, erect is enabled, and at the time of walking, the shaft upper part 16 can be turned in a range between the erect position and the normal position. That is, at the time of sliding, the shaft upper part 16 is placed in the normal position only by tilting forward the lower limbs, and held in the upper position according to locking of the locking device 32. At the end of sliding, the locking device 32 can be again released by a ski stock or the like.
