PURPOSE: To pursue a higher speed by composing a side surface component so as to form at least one part of a side surface to be the outer surface of a ski plate of a polyethylene resin.
CONSTITUTION: Side surface components 40 at both sides, which are sandwiched between an upper surface component 20 to support a foot and a lower surface component 30 made into a sliding surface and in which upper edges and lower edges are joined to the upper surface component 20 and lower surface component 30, respectively, is provided. The side surface components 40 are composed of plural materials, and at least one part of the outer surface is formed of a polyethylene resin 41. Namely, not only the lower surface but also the side surface can be made into the sliding surface, and even when the side surface is made into contact with snow at the time of planting the edge, a friction resistance is made small, and the sliding can be executed without reducing a speed. Consequently, the higher speed can be pursued in comparison with a conventional ski plate.
