To provide skiing facilities which can arbitrarily control a lateral slanting angle of only part of a ski slope, and imparts a wide range of variations to the ski slope, by driving a movable floor forming part of the ski slope by a movable floor driving mechanism.
The skiing ground 1 includes the ski slope 3 which is developed by feeding artificial snow on a ski slope floor. The skiing ground 1 is comprised of the movable ski slope floor, the movable floor driving mechanism, a cover member, and a cover member driving mechanism. The movable ski slope floor is arranged on part of the ski slope floor along a width direction. The movable floor driving mechanism is arranged below the ski slope floor, for driving the movable ski slope floor upward and downward. The cover member is arranged below the ski slop floor, for covering a gap formed between the ski slope floor and the movable ski slope floor when the latter is driven. The cover driving mechanism is arranged below the ski slope floor, for driving the cover member, to thereby block the gap formed between the ski slope floor and the movable ski slope floor.
