An extract from Ludwigia octovalvis var. sessiliflora is formulated in the skin care preparation for external use in order to prevent or ameliorate the aging symptoms of the skin. Furthermore, the extract from Ludwigia octovalvis var. sessiliflora is used as the cell activator and antioxidant.
