To provide a skin care preparation which is suitable for a sensitive skin.
The skin care preparation contains two components, (A) an agent for normalizing a barrier function, (B) an antiinflammatory agent. The agent for normalizing the barrier function is selected from an ω3 fatty acid, an ω6 fatty acid and/or their triglycerides, concretely, the agent for normalizing the barrier function contains vegetable oils such as linolic acid, α-linolenic acid, γ-linolenic acid, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), avocado oil, almond oil, perilla oil, olive oil, saflower oil, wheat embryo oil, sesame oil, rice bran oil, soybean oil, corn oil, palm oil, sunflower oil, cotton seed oil or the like. The antiinflammatory agent contains those selected from among glycyrrhizic acid, glycyrrhetinic acid, and their derivatives, plant extracts extracted from aloe, turmeric, comfrey, eucalyptus, Houttuynia cordata or the like, sulfur and its derivative, chondroitin surfate and its derivative, and zinc oxide.
