To obtain a skin cosmetic having a light feeling in use, no stickiness after use, excellent in durability of moisture retaining effect, wrinkle controlling effect, excellent in ameliorating action on chapped skin, providing the skin with firmness, hardly causing shininess and messy makeup, having excellent stability with time.
This cosmetic is characterized by comprising (a) 0.00005-2 wt.%, calculated as a dried residue, of an extracted essence of stalk of Akebia quinata or milk vetch, (b) 0.1-20 wt.% of metal soap fine particle having difference (RA-RC) between 30% particle diameter RA and 70% particle diameter RC of ≤3 μm and a different (RD-RB) between 50% particle diameter RB and 95% particle diameter RD of ≤6 μm and (c) 0.01-10 wt.% of L-arginine or its derivative.
