Abstract:
To obtain a skin cosmetic, having promoting actions on collagen production and effective in prevention, etc., of skin roughening.
This skin cosmetic comprises 0.001-3wt./wt.% compound of the formula (R1 and R2 are each a 1-6C alkyl; R2 is a 1-10C alkyl when R1 is H; A is H, an alkali metal, etc.), e.g. sodium N6-pentyladenosine-3',5'-cyclic phosphate (cAMP) as an active ingredient. The compound is a well-known one and obtained by carrying out the reducing alkylating reaction of a cAMP tributylamine salt. An ointment containing the compound is capable of more increasing the skin moisture than a cosmetic without containing the compound.
