Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer panel holding device which enables improvement of the workability of processing in an outer panel for a railway vehicle, and to provide an outer panel processing method.SOLUTION: An outer panel holding device 1 is used to process an outer panel 2 for a railway vehicle. The outer panel holding device 1 includes: a frame body 10 having a dimension larger than the outer panel 2; a holding mechanism 20 which detachably holds the outer panel 2 in a frame of the frame body 10; and a rotation mechanism 30 which rotates the frame body 10 around a horizontal rotation axis X. The outer panel holding device 1 can improve the workability of processing in the outer panel for the railway vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
