To provide an inexpensive skinpass rolling method for a hot-dip galvanizing steel sheet which prevents the appearance of the steel sheet from being damaged with a foreign matter stuck to work roll surfaces and prevents the work rolls from being clogged and can stably produce even the rough surface hit-dip galvanizing steel sheet having surface roughness of an arithmetical mean roughness Ra being specified of ≥1.0 μm, and also to provide an inexpensive skinpass rolling apparatus.
High pressure fluid having 200-500 kg/cm2 is blasted to the surfaces of the work rolls when the hot-dip galvanizing steel sheet is skinpass rolled. The blast ratio of high pressure fluid to the respective surfaces of the work rolls is not less than 2 seconds per 30 seconds. High pressure fluid is intermittently blasted to the surfaces of the work rolls and stop period for continuous blasting is not more than 3 minutes.
