Abstract:

To provide slag for preventing elution of fluorine, and ensuring less wear of a furnace wall.

CaO and Al2O3 are added to the slag containing fluorine more than molten steel to form a calcium-aluminate phase, and MgO is added thereto to prepare the content of MgO to be 1-20 wt.%, or pre-melt slag in which calcium-aluminate phase is formed of CaO and Al2O3 in advance and MgO are added to prepare the content of MgO to be 1-20 wt.%.
