Abstract:
To provide a slag removal device capable of efficiently exhausting slag in a snout with a simple structure, and plating equipment.SOLUTION: A slag removal device for removing slag in a snout having a lower end part immersed in a molten metal plating bath includes: an inner wall provided over one round so as to face an inner wall surface of the snout in the lower end part of the snout; an outer wall provided over one round so as to face the outer wall surface of the snout in the lower end part of the snout and having an upper end positioned in a place higher than the upper end of the inner wall; a saucer part capable of receiving the lower end part of the snout; an intermediate wall extending upward from the bottom surface of the saucer part between the inner wall and the outer wall and having an upper end positioned in a place lower than the upper end of the inner wall. The inner wall, the intermediate wall and at least a part of the bottom surface include exhaust ports for demarcating a storage part for storing molten metal and exhausting molten metal overflowing from the storage part through the upper end of the intermediate wall downward from the bottom surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
