Title:
SLANTED ENGINE WITH GOVENOR GEAR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3230076
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slanted engine whose width and depth are compact.
SOLUTION: In slanted engine which is formed by inclining a cylinder 2 from one end of a crank room 3, a valve-system cam gear 32 is placed at a position lower and more inclined position than a position where a crank shaft of the crank room 3 is hung horizontally, a cylinder shaft line 65 is inclined upper side than the position where the crank shaft is hung horizontally, and a governor gear 50 is placed in upper space of the crank room 3. By placing an idle gear 45 upper position than the crank shaft and lower position of a cylinder 46, engaging the valve-system cam gear 32 with a crank gear 42, engaging the idle gear 45 with the crank gear 42, and engaging the idle gear 45 with the governor gear 50, rotation of the crank gear 42 is transmitted to the valve-system cam gear 32 and the governor gear 50. Such structure miniaturizes width and depth of the crank room 3.
