Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeping bag component member of light weight and having favorable heat insulation performance, bulkiness, cushion effect, etc., the stopping move of feathers to prevent uneven dispersion of the feathers.
SOLUTION: This sleeping bag component member comprises feathers intervening between a surface cloth 1 and a back cloth 2. Either or both of the surface cloth 1 and the back cloth 2 is formed of processed cloth woven or knitted of synthetic fibers of a small yarn count provided with air permeability and flexibility, nonwoven fabric formed from densely entangled ultra-thin short fibers is brought into contact with the inner surface side of the processed cloth, the processed cloth and the nonwoven fabric are bonded at points to be integrated with each other, water repellent finish is applied to the whole cloth positioned on the surface side of the surface and the back cloths 1, 2, and tips of the feathers are inserted between flocks of the nonwoven fabric.
