Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sleeve for die casting of long service life which can improve the shrinkas fitting effect between the inner and outer cylinders, is excellent in the injection stability, and can reduce the amount of the lubricant.
CONSTITUTION: In a sleeve for die casting where an inner cylinder made of ceramics material is shrinkage fit in an outer cylinder made of the metallic material of high strength and low thermal expansion, the mean coefficient of thermal expansion of the metallic material of high strength and low thermal expansion from 20°C to 300°C is 1-5×10-6/°C, and the mean coefficient of thermal expansion from 20°C to 600°C is ≥5×10-6/°C.
