Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve wheel uniformity and to prevent any rim chafing from being caused by improvements in the uniformity.
CONSTITUTION: A bulged heel 10 adhering, over the whole circumference, to a corner round recess 7 adjacent to the outside in the cross direction of an inclined bead seat 6, is installed in a bead part 3 to be tightly fitted in the inclined bead seat 6 of a standard rim 2, prior to contact with a curved flange 9 of the standard rim 2 and an outer surface of the bead part to be opposed to this flange, and a bulge value of this bulged heel 10 is set to be more than 2mm. In addition, rubber hardness of a contact surface 11 with the corner round recess 7, of the bulged heel 10 is set to be more than 65 degrees in JIS hardness, while a 100% modulus of rubber in a bead part outer surface part 12 contacting with the curved flange 9, at the more radial outer side than the bulged heel 10 should be set to a range of 90 to 30kgf/cm2.
