Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer electrolyte superior in ionic conductivity, uniformity, and the adhesive property to a base material, and to provide an electrochemical device satisfactory in durability and preservability by using it.
SOLUTION: This solid polymer electrolyte is a gummy copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene, or a rubber-like copolymer of vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene, and tetrafluoroethylene, comprising a polymer containing 55 mole % or more of the vinylidene fluoride, an electrolytic salt, and an organic solvent. A lithium secondary battery and an electric double layer capacitor are provided by using this electrolyte.
