Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus peovided with a slide cover which is low in profile and is easily assembled to a main body part.
SOLUTION: The slide cover is composed of: a cover external plate 70, a structure member 80 which is fixed to the back of the cover external plate; a holding member 90 which is movably positioned; and a toggle means 100 provided between the holding member and cover external plate or structure member. The holding member is provided with two parallel extending racks 82a and 82b and a guide part 81 which extends at both end parts in the same direction with the racks. The holding member comprises a holding plate 91, an even number of pinion gears 92a and 92b which are rotatably supported on the holding plate and engage each other, and a guide body 93 which is supported by the holding plate at a position across the even number of pinion gears, the guide body is slidably engaged with the guide part, and the toggle means energizes the holding member at a nearly intermediate position in the movement range of the holding member.
