To provide slide door closure equipment for a vehicle, which enables opening of a slide door, in case of emergency, by an opening device for emergency which normally not exposed, while maintaining the function of opening and closing the slide door by an electrical opening-closing device.

A slide door, which slides longitudinally in relation to the opening part of the door and is openable, is locked in a closed state by slide door closure equipment 5 for a vehicle. This equipment has an electrical type door lock unit which can engage with and disengage from a plurality of strikers fixed to the opening part of the door and also has a drive unit 6 which can operate and control the door lock unit. An operation part 24 for emergency cancellation is provided at the middle of the drive unit 6, while a door part for emergency which is normally closed and openable in emergency is provided on the indoor side opposite to the operating part 24, and the drive unit 6 is made operable by the operating part 24 for emergency cancellation through the door part for emergency.
