Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide-fitting type connector, in which fitting work of both male and female multi-pole type connector housing is easily carried out by utilizing the lever function of two levers interlockingly operated by low operational force of a slide member.
SOLUTION: In this connector 10, a slide member 30 is installed in the one connector housing 40 in a manner such that the slide can slide freely and at the time when the slide member 30 moves in reciprocating manner, the tip end parts 55, 56 of the lever 50 are connected with a pair of connection parts 24, 26 of the other connector housing 20 so as to attach and detach one connector housing 40 to and from other connector housing 20. In this case, levers 50 are installed between slide parts in the both sides of the slide member 30 and one connector housing 40, and at the same time, the levers 50 are installed between the slide parts and the connector housing so that the levers face reversely with each other.
