Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a slide gate plate, in which the regenerating ratio is improved, the regenerating work is facilitated and the regenerating cost can be reduced.
CONSTITUTION: In a rectangular frame 2 composed of a fixed form refractory, whole dowel part 3 and a sliding part 4 at the surrounding part composed of castable refractory are integrally formed. By this constitution, erosion caused by molten metal does not affect the frame and also, the frame 2 is not subject to crack caused by heat at the time of using and the whole eroded dowel part 3 and the sliding part 4 can easily be removed from the frame 2.
