Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide member which can suppress a cost of manufacture, for example, while keeping characteristics required for a bearing of a vehicular engine, particularly a seize resistance.SOLUTION: A slide member includes a base material layer, a slide layer formed on the base material layer by menas of a physical vapor deposition, and a resin layer formed on the slide layer. The resin layer includes a thermoplastic resin and a solid lubricant. An arithmetic mean roughness Ra of a surface of the resin layer is 1.5 μm or more, and/or a maximum roughness Rz of the surface is 5.0 μm or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
