Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide member which can improve a lubrication characteristic while suppressing a rise of surface pressure at contact face contacting with the other member.SOLUTION: A slide member comprises a micro texture part 10 arranged at least at a part of a slide face on which the other member slides. The micro texture 10 includes a plurality of fine oil grooves progressing along a direction intersecting with a slide direction, and a plateau part 13 for partitioning the fine oil grooves. A cross section shape of the plateau part 13 orthogonal to a direction in which the fine oil grooves extend includes a first portion 13A including at least a contact portion contacting with the other member, a second portion 13B which is arranged between a bottom part 11B of the first fine oil groove and the first portion 13A out of the bottom parts 11B, 11C of the first and second fine oil grooves which are partitioned by the plateau part 13, and a third portion 13C which is arranged between the bottom part 11C of the second fine oil groove and the first portion 13A.
