PURPOSE: To provide a slide switch device having no wrong operation displayed, as well as making its assembly easy by reducing the number of parts.

CONSTITUTION: In a slide switch device structured for performing ON/OFF operations by sliding a switch knob 3 within a recessed part 2 by providing the recessed part 2 for the switch knob 3 in a main body 1 and drilling an inserting hole 5 for an operating rod 4 formed integrally with the switch knob 3 in the recessed part 2, an elastic body 10 for always energizing the switch knob 3 in a locking direction is integrally provided. Further, a projection 12 is provided in the inserting hole 5 of the operating rod 4 so as to regulate sliding of the switch knob 3 and a projected part 13 formed integrally with the switch knob 3 making contact with the projection 12 is pressed against the elastic body 10 and thereby the switch 3 is slid for disengaging from the projection 12.
