To provide a slide type button which has a simple structure, is easy to operate, and stably slides.
The slide type button includes a main body part provided with a connection member with a conductive part, an attachment part, and a slide key having an engagement part, and the attachment part includes a slide allowing plate mounted on the main body part and a slide plate fixed mutually with the slide key. The slide allowing plate is provided with a rail part, a first positioning recessed groove, and a second positioning recessed groove, and the slide plate is provided with a slide part, a first positioning projection, and a second positioning projection. The slide part is put in the rail part, and the slide key and slide plate slide along the slide allowing plate, and move the conductive part through an engagement part to switch the slide type button to a start mode or OFF mode. The first positioning projection is engaged with the first positioning recessed groove and the second positioning projection is engaged with the second positioning recessed groove to position the slide type button at the different mode.
