PURPOSE: To enable working of a press ram in the longitudinal axial direction by making the relation between a first rod end bearing and a second rod end bearing connecting with a crank pin of bar member transmitting with a first link mutual cross at right angle and swinging the lever.

CONSTITUTION: Intermediate part of the first long link lever 34 is fitted as swingable to one end of a second short link lever 38 with a pin 36, and the other end of this short link lever 38 is fitted as swingable to a fixed shaft member 40 standing up straight to the base table 12. Further, neighborhood of center part of a third link lever 44 is fitted as rotatably to the fixed shaft member 46 standing up straight to the base table 12. Further, the other end of this lever 44 is fitted as swingable to one end of a fourth short link 50 with a pin 48, and the other end of the link 50 is fitted as swingable to the press ram with a pin 52. The press ram can be straightly shifted along the longitudinal axis with the well-known guide means to itself in accordance with the working of the third link lever 44.
