Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing capable of suppressing occurrence of deviations in an axial center locus of a crankshaft or a crank pin during operation of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A sliding bearing 1 according to the present invention is formed by combining a half split type upper side bearing body 10 arranged at an upper side in a vertical motion direction of a piston, and a half split type lower side bearing body 20 arranged at a lower side in the vertical motion direction. A cylindrical sliding surface rotatably supporting a crankshaft or a crank pin through an oil film is formed by a sliding surface 12 of the upper side bearing body 10 and a sliding surface 22 of the lower side bearing body 20. An oil groove 14 is formed in a circumferential direction at a center portion in an axial direction of the sliding surface 12 of the upper side bearing body 10, and the oil groove is not formed on the sliding surface of the lower side bearing body 20. A width γ in the axial direction of the sliding surface 22 of the lower side bering body 20 is narrower than a width α in the axial direction of the sliding surface 12 of the upper side bearing body 10 which includes the oil groove 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
