Abstract:
To provide a sliding door brake device which can quickly brake a door panel with a good response that moves beyond a threshold and which can realize a simplified and miniaturized overall structure when compared with a conventional brake device.SOLUTION: A sliding door brake device includes a rack gear 11 and a damper unit 10, and the unit 10 has a pinion gear 12, a clutch mechanism, a braking mechanism, and more. The clutch mechanism includes a claw disk 19 and a weight 20, and a clutch drum 22 and an output gear 23. The clutch claw 21 is supported by the claw disc 19 in a pivotal manner and is urged toward the power disengagement posture by a clutch spring 26. The clutch claw 21 and the weight 20 are coupled by the claw shaft 43 and the clutch groove 44 so as to be capable of accompanying rotation while being relatively movable. When the angular acceleration exceeding a threshold value acts on the pawl disc 19, the pawl disc 19 rotates ahead of the rotation of weight 20, so that the clutch pawl 21 switches to the power transmission attitude and transmits rotational power to the clutch drum 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
