Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device with a front surface plate of an inspection panel and a back surface plate of a transom panel that are roughly flat with front and rear surface plates of a sliding door in a closed state, the sliding door device being of a simple structure and preventing a structural body from being seen and the light from leaking through a gap between the upper edge of the sliding door and the bottom edge of the inspection and transom panels.SOLUTION: In a sliding door device with a front surface plate of an inspection panel 8 and a rear surface plate of a transom panel roughly flat with front and rear surface plates 62 and 63 of a sliding door 6 in a closed state, a rear side recess 701 and a front side recess 700 are formed in an upper part of the rear and front sides of the sliding door 6, respectively, for housing a lower protrusion 804 of the transom panel and a lower protrusion 84 of the inspection panel.
