Abstract:

PURPOSE: To surely shift and guide a guiding body in the state of no sway at any position of the guiding groove of a central guide rail and the guiding grooves of end-part guide rails while a sliding door is depressed and held surely by elastic force at the end-part positions in open or closed direction.
CONSTITUTION: Both a guiding body 8 movable along the inside of the guiding groove 5a of a central guide rail 5 attached to an upper doorframe 4 and the inside of the guiding groove 6a of an end-part guide rail 6 continuing therefrom,, and an elastic force-applying member 9 for shifting the guiding body 8 upward are provided in a casing 2 attached to the upper part of a sliding door 1. Sway- preventing guiding surfaces 8a each being in slide contact with the inside surfaces 5b of the central guide rail 5 and the inside surfaces of the end-part guide rail 6 are formed on both sides of the guiding body 8, parallel to the direction of its movement. Furthermore, an engagement member 11 which is opposed to the recessed part formed on the upper surface of the guiding member 8 and is engaged or disengaged freely from in vertical direction, and to which elastic force is applied in the direction of engagement, is provided in the end- part guide rail 6.
