To provide a sliding door, which can be used as both a door that opens to the right and a door that opens to the left, for use in a sliding door structure in which the door is pulled to one side, and a sliding door structure using the same.

A sliding door 1 is fitted between a lintel 2 and a threshold 3 and used as it is opened to the right and left relative to a partition wall 4. The sliding door 1 has a front 11 and a back 11a. A guide groove 12 for inserting the guide protruding strap body 21 of the lintel 2 is provided in the upper end face of the sliding door 1, and a predetermined number of door rollers for running on a groove 31 in the threshold 3 are provided at the required positions of the lower end face of the sliding door 1. The guide groove 12 is formed in the center of the thickness of the upper end face of the sliding door 1 along the overall length of the upper end face. Door pull metal fittings 13, 13a are provided at the respective right ends of the front 11 and rear 11a of the sliding door 1 in such a way as to be opposed to the front and the back, respectively.
