To provide a sliding door type entrance construction in which a sliding door does not rubs or contacts a center mullion or a neighboring other sliding door during opening/closing movement even though deformation such as warping has occurred to the sliding door and, during closing, there is no flow of cold air, hot air, moisture and no leakage of light between the sliding door, the center mullion or other neighboring sliding door.

This is a sliding door type entrance construction comprising a lower rail 2, an upper rail 3 and a sliding door arranged between them. The lower rail 2 has a guide pin 21 in the middle portion, and the upper rail 3 has a rail 31. The sliding door has a guide groove loose fitted to the guide pin 21 at the lower end portion, and the upper end portion has a suspension wheel running along the rail 31. When opening the sliding door, it is slided in a direction separating from the center mullion 5 side at the entrance 4, and when closing, the door is laterally slided in a direction coming closer to the side of the center mullion 5.
