Title:
SLIDING DOOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2829280
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase of friction resistance between a guide groove and a sliding door and open and close the sliding door smoothly without making its opening and closing operations heavy even when a sliding door main body is twisted and warped by providing and protruding guide parts which are inserted into the guide groove and slide on an end face which faces the guide groove of the sliding door main body and in its both end parts.
SOLUTION: In a sliding door 1 which is guided by a guide groove B provide in a horizontal opening frame member A, guide parts 4, 4 which slide in the guide groove B are provided and protrude in both end parts on an end face 3 of a sliding door main body 2, and a light shut-off piece 5 which prevents a leakage of light between the inside and the outside of the sliding door main body 2 is provided between the guide parts 4 and 4. As for the sliding door 1, a projection 14 on a lower end face of the sliding door main body 2 is inserted into a guide groove 17 of a thresholdlike opening frame member 16 in such a manner that it can slide freely, and the guide parts 4, 4 and the light shut-off piece 5 are inserted into the guide groove B. At this time, since the guide parts 4, 4 which are inserted into the guide groove B support an upper end of the sliding door main body 2 at two points, it is possible to prevent the opening and closing operations of the sliding door 1 from becoming heavy, even if the sliding door main body 2 is twisted and warped.
