Title:
SLIDING NOZZLE FOR CONTROLLING FLOW RATE OF MOLTEN STEEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6390354
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the flow rate control, to prevent a steel leakage and to improve the workability by composing a sliding plate by using a graphite, hexagonal boron nitride or both and forming a nozzle part with a zirconia sintered body.

CONSTITUTION: As to the graphite or hexagonal boron nitride used for a sliding plate main body 1, 10W30wt% about 3W1mm grain size, 20W40% about 1W0.3mm grain size and about 30W70% ≤0.3mm grain size and used and formed with kneading by adding an ordinary binder. A stabilized zirconia stabilized by adding about 4W12mol% CaO and about 2W12mol% Y2O3 is used for a nozzle part 3. With this composition the performance can be improved.
