Title:
SLIGHT MOVEMENT POSITIONING DEVICE OF BRAIN STEREOTAXIC APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3723629
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely and quickly determine the position of the cranium of an animal, and improve the time, precision and economic property of this work by integrating a slight movement positioning adjusting device to the upper jaw fixing hardware of a brain stereotaxic apparatus, so that the upper jaw fixing hardware can be constituted so as to be precisely and quickly fixed to an optional position.
SOLUTION: A set screw 10 is loosened first before operation, so that an upper jaw fixing hardware 2 is movable vertically to a strut 4. A regulating knob 8 is held and properly rotated, whereby a height regulating screw 7 presses a position regulating cylinder 6 and advances into the strut 4, and the position regulating cylinder 6 pushes down the upper jaw fixing hardware 2 against the pressure extending force of a pressure extending elastic spring 5. On the other hand, when the regulating knob 8 is reversely rotated, the height regulating screw 7 is advanced to release the pressing force of the position regulating cylinder 6 to the upper jaw fixing hardware 2, and the upper jaw fixing hardware 2 is pushed up by the pressure dispersing force of the pressure extending elastic spring 5. Thus, the vertical position of the upper jaw fixing hardware 2 can be extremely easily regulated.
