To realize a favorable executability even when a foam is to be applied in a large area or the surface for its application is rough by a method wherein a lubricity imparting layer is bonded to at least one side of a formed body made of a rubber-based foam.
This slippery foam is produced by bonding a lubricity imparting layer 1 to at least one side of a formed body 2 made of a rubber-based foam. The lubricity imparting layer 1 can impart to proper surfaces such as either one of or both the front and rear surfaces of the formed body 2 made of the rubber-based foam. Or the foam may well have a structure that one side of the formed body 2 made of the rubber-based foam has the lubricity imparting layer 1 thereon while its other side has a self-adhering layer thereon. As the lubricity imparting layer 1, which is bondingly annexed to the formed body 2 made of the rubber-based foam, a long chain alkyl-based, florine-based or silicone-based release coating, especially a coating containing silicone as a component from the view point of the good adhesion between the rubber-based foam and the coating or a silicone-based graft coating agent is preferably used.
