PURPOSE: To feed a sheet like body to a cutting position safely and automati cally by constituting so as to move in the longitudinal direction of a shaft center as well as approaching and separating at least one part of shaft bodies in parallel to the other part of the shaft bodies.

CONSTITUTION: When a sheet like body 30 is pass through the gap part formed in the vertical direction of cutting tools 5, 17 by transferring it in the state of interposing the both ends of its end part, the cutting tool 5 and 17 are located at the cutting part of the sheet like body 30 by moving in the vertical direction by projecting a piston rod and operating fluid cylinders 10, 11, 22, 23 simultaneously. Then, the piston rod is projected by operating the fluid cylinder 28, the cutting tool 17 is moved in the horizontal direction and abutted with a specific pressing force to the cutting tool 5. During this cutting tools set operation the sheet like body 30 is transferred at specific speed, so each cutting tool 5, 17 is set by moving smoothly with cutting the sheet like body 30.
